Job description

Dayton Roger’s is seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis. Our company specializes in providing top-notch IT solutions to various clients in the Dayton area. As an IT Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our company’s IT infrastructure and providing technical support to our clients., Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and network equipment

Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and provide timely resolution
Monitor system performance and ensure all systems are up to date and secure
Manage user accounts and permissions, including creating and disabling accounts as needed
Provide technical support and guidance to clients and team members
Collaborate with other IT professionals to identify and implement new technologies and solutions
Conduct regular backups and disaster recovery procedures
Maintain inventory of all hardware and software assets
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology to make recommendations for improvement
Develop and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
Strong knowledge of networking, operating systems, and hardware components
Experience with cloud computing, virtualization, and data backup solutions
Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and tools
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
