Job description
Our client is recruiting for an IT Technician to begin as soon as possible. This outstanding private, co-educational school is renowned for:

The successful candidate will play a key role in providing day-to-day technical support across the school, ensuring staff and pupils have reliable access to IT systems, hardware and digital resources. You will work closely with teaching and support staff to resolve technical issues efficiently and maintain a smooth-running IT environment.
You will also assist with the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of computers, devices, networks, software and other school technology.

Requirements
- A relevant qualification in IT, Computing or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience)
- Previous experience as an IT Technician, IT Support Technician or in a similar technical support role
- Strong knowledge of hardware, software, operating systems and troubleshooting
- Experience supporting users with technical issues and providing clear, helpful guidance
- Good understanding of network connectivity, printers, computers and other IT equipment
- Excellent organisational, problem-solving and practical skills
- The ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff, administrative teams and other IT professionals
- Confidence providing technical support to staff and pupils across a school environment
- A proactive, reliable and customer-focused approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to prioritise tasks and respond effectively to technical issues
- The legal right to work in the UK
