Job description

Install, configure, and support network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, routers, wireless access points, and wireless controllers.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex LAN, WAN, and enterprise Wi-Fi issues.
Provide remote and onsite support to hospitality clients.
Manage incidents and service requests through the service desk.
Support infrastructure upgrades, deployments, and project work.
Monitor network performance and proactively identify issues.
Produce high-quality technical documentation.
Participate in an on-call rota, one week in every four weeks.
Represent our business professionally when working directly with customers.

VPN, Were a specialist managed service provider delivering networking, Wi-Fi, and infrastructure solutions to the hospitality sector across the UK. This is a customer-facing Network Support Engineer role based in Central London, office-based with client site visits. Youll work alongside experienced network and Wi-Fi specialists, supporting, installing, and troubleshooting enterprise networking environments remotely and onsite. Requirements

We require proven experience supporting, deploying, and troubleshooting enterprise Wi-Fi.
We require experience with LAN/WAN networking, routing and switching, VLANs, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), TCP/IP, IP addressing and subnetting, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewall administration and troubleshooting, and network monitoring and diagnostics.
We require the ability to discuss networking concepts in detail and troubleshoot issues at Layers 2 and 3.
We require experience supporting Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Azure, and Windows Server environments.
We require an active CCNA certification or equivalent current networking qualification.
We require at least 3 years experience in a Network Engineer, Network Support Engineer, or Infrastructure Support position.
We highly value experience working within an MSP environment.
Experience with Ruckus, Meraki, Fortinet, HPE, WatchGuard, or similar vendors is advantageous.
