Job description

  • Planning and scheduling project activities, managing timelines, milestones and resource allocation
  • Identifying, assessing and managing project risks and issues through to resolution
  • Coordinating delivery across agile and waterfall workstreams, facilitating ceremonies where required
  • Maintaining stakeholder alignment through regular reporting, governance meetings and status updates
  • Overseeing budget management, financial reporting and process improvement opportunities
  • Creating and refining user stories, backlog items and delivery priorities in collaboration with product and technical teams
  • Supporting programme governance and multi-team coordination across technology and operations

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ project or programme management experience, including technology delivery
  • Proven experience in end-to-end project planning, risk and issue management, and reporting
  • Working knowledge of agile methodologies and ability to coordinate across agile and traditional delivery models
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Competency in financial analysis, budget oversight and process improvement
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Project Management or related discipline
  • Authorization to work in the United Kingdom

Nice-to-have qualifications could include:

  • PMP, PRINCE2 or Agile certification
  • Experience coordinating multi-workstream programmes
  • Familiarity with user story creation and backlog refinement
