Job description
Roles of this type may sit within a collaborative engineering environment in London, working with development teams across software architecture, microservices, APIs and cloud infrastructure. The work could involve facilitating sprint planning and retrospectives, mentoring teams in Agile practices, removing delivery blockers and supporting continuous improvement in how the team operates., * Facilitating Agile ceremonies (standups, planning, retrospectives, refinement sessions) to keep teams aligned and engaged
- Removing impediments and blockers that slow team progress or delivery
- Coaching team members in Agile practices and helping teams adopt Agile methodologies
- Supporting backlog refinement and user story creation with product teams
- Monitoring delivery performance and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
- Collaborating with stakeholders to maintain visibility of delivery status and risks
- Supporting multi-workstream coordination where teams work across interconnected initiatives
- Fostering a culture of collaboration, transparency and shared ownership within the team, Most roles of this type offer the following, dependent on the industry and seniority of the role:

Requirements
- Demonstrated experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and supporting Agile adoption
- Experience removing blockers and coaching teams to improve delivery performance
- Strong understanding of Agile principles and practices; Scrum Master certification or equivalent experience is preferred
- Experience with backlog refinement, user story creation and stakeholder collaboration in Agile environments
- Familiarity with end-to-end project delivery and risk management
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
- Ability to work in London on a contract basis
Nice-to-have experience could include:
- Exposure to technical environments (APIs, microservices, cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS)
- Experience supporting multi-workstream coordination or programme governance
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices or software development workflows
- Previous experience in software or technology delivery teams
