Telecommunications Technician

• Install and terminate voice, data, and low-voltage cabling cat3, cat5, cat6
• Install and maintain basic telephone systems
• Pull, route, label, and organize cable
• Install jacks, patch panels, and related equipment
• Perform basic testing and troubleshooting of cable and telephone systems
• Read basic drawings, plans, and cable layouts
• Work safely and maintain a clean, professional job site
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members

• Previous experience with voice/data cabling, telecommunications, or low-voltage installation is preferred
• Basic understanding of telephone and network cabling
• Comfortable using hand tools and test equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and learn new systems
• Good communication and customer-service skills
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to travel to job sites as needed
