Job description

Working within a fast paced repair centre, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and processing devices efficiently and accurately, ensuring high standards of quality and productivity are maintained at all times. If you have built your own pc’s and repaired your own or other mobile devices we want to hear from you, * Inspect each device requiring repair on a first come, first serve basis.

  • Carry out comprehensive diagnostics using all available software, hardware tools and test scripts.
  • Request appropriate parts and materials from the designated team member.
  • Install replacement parts carefully and in line with company procedures.
  • Ensure all fitted parts are safe, fully functional and performing as intended.
  • Accurately update the company CRM system throughout each stage of the repair process.
  • Record all parts used and add relevant service notes within the CRM system.
  • Transfer repaired devices to the Quality Control department for final testing.
  • Achieve an average target of two repairs per hour.
  • Proactively communicate with the Service Centre Manager if targets are impacted by technical or operational challenges.
  • Maintain a clean, organised and controlled working environment at all times.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Schematics?, * Experience in device repair, diagnostics or a similar technical environment preferred.

  • Confident using diagnostic software and technical tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
  • Comfortable working to productivity targets.
  • Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
