Job description

Assist in developing architectural concepts and detailed construction drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and ArchiCAD.
Prepare 3D models and visualizations with tools like 3ds Max, Rhino 3D, Grasshopper 3D, and SketchUp to communicate design ideas effectively.
Support project teams with building code analysis, regulatory compliance, and accessibility regulations to ensure all designs meet local standards.
Contribute to the creation of construction documentation, including details, specifications, and construction accessibility features.
Collaborate on sustainable design initiatives by integrating eco-friendly materials and energy-efficient strategies into project proposals.
Assist in project scheduling, budgeting, and construction estimating to help keep projects on track and within scope.
Use Bluebeam and other graphic design software for markup review, document management, and presentation preparation.
Participate in client meetings and project presentations to support business development efforts through clear communication of design concepts.

Requirements

A degree or current enrollment in architecture or related field; relevant internship experience is a plus.
Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD; experience with BIM tools is highly desirable.
Familiarity with 3D modeling software including Rhino 3D, Grasshopper 3D, SketchUp, and 3ds Max for architectural visualization.
Knowledge of building code analysis, construction regulations, and accessibility standards.
Strong skills in construction detail documentation and construction drawings preparation.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for rendering and presentation purposes.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently with excellent organizational skills; understanding of project scheduling is advantageous.
Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members, clients, and contractors.
A proactive attitude with a passion for innovative architectural design and sustainable practices.
