Job description
Performs software verification, validation, and testing of existing C++ avionics software for Flight Management Systems (FMS) and flight control applications to ensure compliance with DO-178 certification standards.
Requirements
- Experience with DO-178 software development and certification standards.
- Proficiency in C++ programming.
- Experience with software Verification and Validation (V&V) processes.
- Experience with Flight Management Systems (FMS) and/or flight control software.
- Experience testing existing software code against technical requirements and certification standards.
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies, test execution, and defect identification.
- Experience analyzing software functionality and identifying compliance issues.
- Knowledge of avionics software development and testing processes

Duration: 6+ Months
Rate: $65-$70/hr on w2, * 401(k)
