Telecommunications Technician

*Installation of small business network gear - Routers - Firewalls - Managed L3 Switches *Implementation of Wi-Fi access points and controllers *Installation of phone/data cabling, A/V cabling (including coaxial), and fiber to code. *Installation of A/V equipment, camera systems, and paging systems. *Provide technician skills that would include data gathering, installation, training, wiring, and troubleshooting. *Rotation in the on call schedule. *Support systems remotely with troubleshooting and MAC work when possible. *Maintaining company provided tools such as vehicle, cell phone, lap top, and any company provided equipment. *To be a self-motivated individual who exhibits sense of urgency in all service related activity.

VOIP EXPERIENCE A MUST *Experience with Avaya products including the IP Office *Strong customer service skills *Knowledge of the cabling color codes and termination standards *Ability to multitask *Strong communication, organizations & presentation skills are essential *Ability to be able to work with minimal direction *Strong problem-solving, analytical, as well as critical thinking skills needed with the ability to troubleshoot in an efficient manner *Providing and the operation knowledge of a phone technician toolkit *Knowledge of RS323 serial connections *Data/Computer knowledge including: o Data/network connections o Hyper terminal and ProComm o Microsoft Office Products o TCP/IP Knowledge o, Network Routing Knowledge

We also will complete service and install out of our geographical area when there is a need. Our flagship product is the Avaya IP Office. We also provide a smaller solution with ESI Communication Systems. CTS services a variety of systems along with the most implemented systems being the Avaya Partner ACS and the IP Office.
