Design Engineer

Perform calculations for specialty cold storage construction projects. Complete custom drawings, detail drawings and BOM to support the installation of these projects., * Responsible for creating and maintaining AutoCAD drawings for projects

• Perform calculations for refrigeration systems to guide in selecting required equipment
• Designing of system components to create complete systems that integrate seamlessly in the field
• Coordinate with project manager and coordinator to ensure they have complete and timely bill of materials, drawings and engineering for each project
• Establishes a Bill of Material for each project, including panel cut list, accessories, take off and parts
• Design and Produce part drawings for systems
• Secure pricing for materials on part drawings
• Review and comment/approve applicable submittal drawings
• Preparation of sales and graphic drawings as needed
• Maintenance of in house drawings
• Assist in collecting and analyzing data
• Assist in creating quotations based off of engineered selections
• Other job duties as may be required to support the design and engineering of our systems
• Travel to project sites
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously

Do you have experience in Material cost estimating?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering?, We are looking to hired an engineer skilled in creating Architectural Drawings. Mechanical Experience is a plus.

Experience in Commercial Construction Drawings and completing take offs for BOMs is required., * Bachelor’s degree in engineering

• Experience with drafting construction drawings
• Extensive experience with AutoCAD platform required
• Excellent oral and written skills
• Problem solving abilities
• Ability to multi-task efficiently, * AutoCAD: 5 years (Preferred)
