Deployment Engineer

Deployment Engineer - 3 months Contract - £220/day via umbrella company - onsite Bedford - SCC FLEX CONTRACT

We are seeking a skilled Deployment Engineer to join our IT Support Team. In this role, you will provide critical break/fix support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals, ensuring seamless operations within our organization. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting Windows OS, hardware, and enterprise applications while coordinating escalations with third-party vendors.

Your responsibilities as a Deployment Engineer:

• Provide break/fix support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Re-image devices and reinstall/configure applications as required.
• Troubleshoot Windows OS, hardware, and enterprise applications efficiently.
• Coordinate escalations and hardware replacements with third-party vendors.
• Document issues and resolutions in IT service management systems (ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.).
• Assist with general troubleshooting of user issues and hardware refresh projects.
• Install pre-packaged software manually via USB key when needed.
• Support migration efforts, including Windows 10 to Windows 11 in-place upgrades.

As a suitable Deployment Engineer, you will have:

• Proven experience in break/fix support and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, M365, Teams, and ServiceNow (preferred).
• Ability to follow instructions and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Experience coordinating with third-party vendors for hardware replacements.
• Excellent documentation skills for IT service management systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Active SC Clearance
