Job description
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Deployment Engineer to support BAU onsite activities for a high-profile end client in Swindon. This Deployment Engineer contract is inside IR35, offers a £200/day rate, and is a 1-month rolling SCC Flex Contract with an ASAP start. This role is ideal for a hands-on Deployment Engineer who thrives in an onsite environment and has strong End User Computing (EUC) experience. The successful Deployment Engineer will be responsible for supporting day-to-day deployment and device management activities across the business. Your responsibilities as the Deployment Engineer:

Provide BAU onsite support across EUC-related activities.

Carry out desktop builds and laptop builds to agreed standards.

Support new starter requests, ensuring timely device setup and readiness.

Deploy and support mobile phones and tablets.

Troubleshoot hardware and software issues at the desk-side.

Ensure all devices are built, configured and documented correctly.

Work closely with local IT teams to maintain service levels and user satisfaction.
Requirements

Proven experience working as a Deployment Engineer or in a similar EUC / deskside support role.

Strong hands-on experience with desktop builds and laptop builds.

Experience supporting new starters in a corporate IT environment.

Knowledge of mobile and tablet deployment and support.

Excellent customer-facing and communication skills.
-
Ability to work full-time onsite in Swindon.
