Best Job Boards for Remote Work for Developers

Eli McGarvie

The COVID-19 lockdown has accelerated our recognition of how easy and accessible remote work can be. Its advantages have come to light through its persistence despite the end of the pandemic. In 2022, Britain’s Office for National Statistics found that between 25% and 40% of working adults reported working from home, with no discernible upward or downward trend. This finding suggests that homeworking is resilient to factors like the removal of health restrictions — in the UK and the DACH region as well.

Fortunately, numerous job sites can act as the front door to this way of life. The fact that these websites only present remote job postings distinguishes them from others like LinkedIn or CV-Library. As a result, you will not waste time looking through job offers that do not fit your ideal working situation.

The best Job boards for developers to find a remote Job

When we wrote an article picking the best 12 job sites for developers, we were clear on what we meant: we didn't intend to sound like we were shilling and peddling our site. Precisely like that time, this blog post aims to offer the best resources for job seekers, whether they are searching for jobs on the WeAreDevelopers platform or elsewhere.

We’ll be bypassing commonly known job search engines such as Monster, Glassdoor, and LinkedIn, and instead focus on newer, fresher, and more relevant websites that specialize in connecting employers with developers and IT professionals. We’re also skipping some very promising job boards, such as our favourite incluzion.co, because they either ceased operations or can’t update the postings regularly. These are the best sites to find remote work.
