Got A Talk In You? Submit It.

The official call has closed, but late submissions for the North America edition are still open and reviewed on a rolling basis until every slot is filled. If you have something timely to share, send it in.

Late Submissions Open

The regular call for speakers has closed, but the field is moving fast — new tools, new patterns, new lessons every week. We're still accepting late submissions for the North America edition and reviewing them on a rolling basis until every slot is filled. If you have something timely to share, send it in.

Why Speak

The Stage And The Audience

WeAreDevelopers World Congress is bringing the world's largest developer event to North America, with multiple stages and an audience of developers, engineering leaders, and tech enthusiasts from across the region and beyond. If you have something to share, it lands in front of the people who can actually use it.

Reach A Developer Audience In The Heart Of Silicon Valley

WeAreDevelopers World Congress brings together developers, engineers, and tech leaders for the North America debut in San José — three days, multiple stages, and an audience drawn from across the region and beyond.

Share What You're Actually Building

The strongest talks come from practitioners explaining real systems, real trade-offs, and real lessons — not generic overviews. If you're working on something interesting, this is the room for it.

Join A Stage With A History Of Great Speakers

WeAreDevelopers stages have welcomed Steve Wozniak, Sir Tim Berners-Lee, Bjarne Stroustrup, and Angie Jones, alongside engineers and maintainers from across the industry.

First-Time Speakers Welcome

You don't need a long speaking résumé to apply. We care about the substance of the talk and what attendees will walk away with.

What We're Looking For

What Makes A Standout Session

A few things our Program Advisory Board consistently rewards when picking talks from the late round.

Real-World Value

Concrete takeaways attendees can use in their own work — patterns, pitfalls, and decisions that came from shipping something.

Fresh Ideas

A perspective, framing, or result that the audience hasn't already seen on every other stage this year.

Engaging Delivery

Clear structure, strong examples, and demos that land. Live coding is a plus when it serves the talk.

English Only

All sessions are delivered in English so the full international audience can follow along.

How We Review

Every Submission Gets Read

Our Program Advisory Board reviews every submission on its own merits — looking at relevance to the audience, originality, practical value, and technical depth. Late-round picks are held to the same bar as the main call.
