Mr. Kürpick holds a Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics from the University of Kassel and has conducted post-doctorate research at Kansas State University and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He also holds a Masters in Environmental Sciences from the University of Kassel as well as a Corporate MBA from INSEAD. Mr. Kürpick is Senior Vice President at EPAM Systems in Berlin. In a dual role he is both responsible for the German entity of EPAM and global CTO Enterprise Software. He joined EPAM Systems from BainCapital where he oversaw the adoption of latest IT strategies in the BainCapital portfolio companies in the role of a Technology Operating Partner. He also is a Non-Executive Director of PTV and DualFluid. Previously, he has held numerous technology leadership roles at HERE Technologies, Unify, Software AG and SAP, where he was instrumental in the conception and development of SAP NetWeaver.

Max works with Google Cloud customers to realize their AI ambitions. As the Director for Customer Engineering for AI in EMEA, he leads Google's teams of expert AI engineers in the region in deploying the Gemini model family, Gemini Enterprise and Vertex AI, as well as Google Cloud's AI infrastructure offerings. Besides his role at Google, Max is also the co-lead for the AI in Women's Health research group at TUM University Hospital in Munich, where he and his team work on improving treatment outcomes for patients with rare gynecological tumors through AI for clinical decision support systems and patient digital twins.

Tomislav Tipurić is a business and technology professional who connects technical expertise with business strategy to clarify new technologies and drive corporate innovation. As a Chief Technology Officer and Lead Hackathon Coach, he focuses on artificial intelligence, multi-cloud platforms, and modern software development practices. He has designed more than 20 custom learning hackathons and delivered over 500 hands-on educational experiences, including more than 150 sessions dedicated to machine learning, generative AI, and agentic AI solutions. Tomislav translates technical concepts into business strategies, delivering workshops and lectures to C-level executives on the business impact of AI in their industries. Additionally, he has experience in sales enablement and corporate training, serving as a program trainer to help enterprise partners market, sell, and adopt generative AI and cloud productivity tools, and delivering cloud sales enablement programs for global telecommunications firms. Tomislav is certified and authorized as an official trainer by Google and Microsoft.
