In this role, he is responsible for the global software organization of Mercedes‑Benz IT and drives technological advancement and innovation across Mercedes‑Benz in close collaboration with the business units. Under his leadership, the organization is evolving from individual tech hubs into a globally integrated software tech organization that combines software engineering excellence, digital solutions and strong execution capabilities. Key competence areas such as tech consultancy and architecture, cyber and car IT security, data and AI, physical AI, software engineering and virtual reality are strategically aligned under a shared framework.
