Dei is the CEO of HASH, the open-source platform for data integration and simulation. HASH develops ultra high-accuracy AI solutions for firms in safety-critical, error-sensitive, and regulated industries. HASH has been developing "agentic" simulation tooling since 2019, when Dei established the firm with Joel Spolsky (the former founder of Stack Overflow, Trello, and Glitch). Today, HASH is profitable and has offices in New York, London, and Berlin. Dei also leads one of the technical areas of the UK Advanced Research + Invention Agency's "Safeguarded AI" program, focused on developing high-trust interfaces for effective human-AI collaboration.
