Friederike Hoffmann

Friederike Hoffmann is a Partner at b2venture, one of the leading early-stage venture capital firms in the German-speaking world. With a background in senior leadership at Swisscom, she brings deep operational experience in telecommunications and digital infrastructure to her investment work. At b2venture, Friederike focuses on Space, Defense and European technology sovereignty — areas she views as defining the continent's strategic future. Central to her work is mobilising private capital and activating experienced entrepreneurs as angel investors through b2venture's angel network, which she sees as a key lever for strengthening Europe's startup ecosystem. She serves on the Board of Directors of Ivoclar, a global leader in dental technology. Friederike holds a doctorate from the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and is based in Zurich.
