Jasmin Azemović

Cybersecurity executive, university professor, and former Dean of the Faculty of Information Technologies in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Throughout his career, he has designed, implemented, and led security functions within Mistral and HTEC, where his expertise has expanded across both offensive and defensive security domains. His professional focus includes leading Security Operations Center (SOC) teams, managing incident response operations, and driving the implementation and continuous improvement of ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II compliance frameworks. With more than 25 years of professional experience, he has been actively engaged in the fields of information security, privacy, digital forensics, and database systems. He is the author of three books: Writing T-SQL Queries for Beginners Using Microsoft SQL Server 2012, Securing SQL Server 2012, and SQL Server on Linux. Jasmin is a Microsoft Security MVP and a frequent speaker at international IT conferences, industry events, and expert panels. Over the past 18 years, he has delivered more than 170 presentations, sharing practical insights from both industry and academia.
