Jeremy Murray

Founder and CEO · Stack8s

Jeremy Murray is the Founder and CEO of Stack8s, a UK-based company on a mission to commoditise GPU compute on Kubernetes and make AI infrastructure as accessible and interchangeable as electricity. With over a decade of experience in enterprise cloud transformation, Jeremy has led large-scale migrations from legacy platforms to modern cloud environments across highly regulated industries. He holds a PhD from the University of Edinburgh, has authored more than 12 peer-reviewed research papers, and is the inventor of three patents spanning AI, IoT, and advanced computing technologies. Before founding Stack8s, Jeremy worked across cloud, data, and infrastructure programmes, helping organisations modernise mission-critical systems while balancing performance, security, and compliance requirements. Today, he is focused on solving two of the biggest challenges facing AI adoption: GPU scarcity and cloud lock-in. Under his leadership, Stack8s has built a sovereign-by-design AI compute platform that enables organisations to access and orchestrate GPU resources across multiple cloud providers, data centres, and on-premises environments through a unified Kubernetes control plane. The company works with research institutes, enterprises, and startups to accelerate AI innovation while maintaining control over data sovereignty and compliance. Jeremy is a regular speaker on Kubernetes, AI infrastructure, sovereign cloud, and multi-cloud computing, advocating for a future where compute becomes a true commodity and innovation is no longer constrained by infrastructure availability.
