Michele Zuccala

Michele Zuccala is Senior Vice President of Engineering at Sysdig, leading the global engineering organization across open source R&D, runtime security, monitoring, AI, and core platform areas. He drives technical execution and innovation across both commercial and open source initiatives. Michele joined Sysdig to lead the open source team and helped scale Falco, guiding the CNCF runtime security project to graduation and broad industry adoption. He later unified open source and commercial development for runtime security before expanding his leadership across the wider engineering organization. Before Sysdig, he was CTO at ProntoPro and held leadership roles at several high-growth startups.
