Shift Technician - Data Centre (Brussels)

We're partnering with a major international data centre operator to recruit an experienced Shift Technician / Technicien de maintenance / Onderhoudstechnieker for an AI-ready, Tier III facility in Brussels.

This is a mission-critical role in one of Europe's most advanced facilities, designed for 99.999% uptime with 2N power capacity and N+1 redundancy across all systems.

You'll join a 15-person on-site engineering team responsible for keeping essential electrical, mechanical, and building services running flawlessly supporting global hyperscale and enterprise clients 24/7.

Your Responsibilities:

• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems (HV/LV distribution, UPS, generators, chillers, CRAC/CRAH units, pumps, and BMS).
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance (PPM) to minimise downtime.
• Respond rapidly to alarms and incidents, perform fault analysis and assist in root-cause investigations.
• Support change control, risk assessments, and work permits in a critical environment.
• Ensure compliance with Tier III standards, safety regulations, and Belgian electrical codes.
• Work closely with the Shift Lead and Data Centre Manager to maintain uptime and operational excellence.

Do you have experience in HVAC?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * Diploma in Electromechanics, Electrical Engineering, or Building Services (A2 / Bachelor niveau / Technisch secundair onderwijs).

• Proven experience as a Technician / Maintenance Engineer / Facility Engineer in a data centre, hospital, pharmaceutical, or industrial environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to perform under pressure.
• Team player with strong communication skills in English; French or Dutch is a plus.

• €78,000 annual salary + overtime available plus full benefits package.
