ICT application Manager

In this role, you will take full ownership of business-critical applications, acting as the main technical contact for customers. You will manage incidents, perform in-depth analyses, and ensure stable and efficient application performance in complex environments. Main Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of application issues (on-premise or SaaS) and drive them to resolution, coordinating with L2/L3 teams when needed.

• Perform root cause analysis and implement both immediate fixes and long-term improvements.

• Collaborate with hardware, development, and engineering teams to resolve complex issues.

• Plan and execute software updates, migrations, and maintenance activities.

• Analyze application processes, data flows, and performance at the database and interface level.

• Perform SQL queries and scripting (PowerShell, Python) for monitoring, troubleshooting, and automation.

• Technical degree (BSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering) or equivalent professional training (e.g., IT specialist EFZ).
• Proven experience in application management, technical support, or systems integration.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL and Windows Server administration; scripting skills (PowerShell, Python) are an advantage.
• Analytical mindset with a structured, hands-on, and solution-oriented working style.
• Fluent in German and English (both written and spoken); French is a plus.
• Confident communicator who can handle customer interactions in challenging situations.
