We are looking for an experienced ICT Application Manager to join a leading global player in the field of smart energy and infrastructure management. In this role, you will take full ownership of business-critical applications, acting as the main technical contact for customers. You will manage incidents, perform in-depth analyses, and ensure stable and efficient application performance in complex environments. Main Responsibilities

Take full ownership of application issues (on-premise or SaaS) and drive them to resolution, coordinating with L2/L3 teams when needed.

Perform root cause analysis and implement both immediate fixes and long-term improvements.

Collaborate with hardware, development, and engineering teams to resolve complex issues.

Plan and execute software updates, migrations, and maintenance activities.

Analyze application processes, data flows, and performance at the database and interface level.

Perform SQL queries and scripting (PowerShell, Python) for monitoring, troubleshooting, and automation.

Requirements
- Technical degree (BSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering) or equivalent professional training (e.g., IT specialist EFZ).
- Proven experience in application management, technical support, or systems integration.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL and Windows Server administration; scripting skills (PowerShell, Python) are an advantage.
- Analytical mindset with a structured, hands-on, and solution-oriented working style.
- Fluent in German and English (both written and spoken); French is a plus.
- Confident communicator who can handle customer interactions in challenging situations.
