Job description

As a Document Controller, you will help manage and organize all the important project and engineering documents for shipbuilding projects. You will make sure that information is shared correctly and on time with customers, partners, and subcontractors. You will be part of the project team and work closely with engineers, project managers, and suppliers to ensure all documents are accurate, up to date, and safely stored in the company systems.

Specific duties in this role include:

  • Register, check, and send incoming and outgoing documents in PDM and PLM systems.
  • Distribute documents to the right people and make sure everyone has the latest information.
  • Track and follow up on document deliveries to keep the project on schedule.
  • Coordinate with colleagues, customers, and subcontractors to solve document-related issues.
  • Keep records organized and secure, following company and project rules.
  • Report on document control progress and suggest improvements where needed.

Requirements

We are looking for a motivated Document Controller to support the engineering team in managing the documentation flow for complex shipbuilding projects. If you have experience in document control and enjoy working in an international environment, this opportunity could be a great fit for you!, * A Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration, Logistics, or a similar field.

  • 2+ years of experience in document control, administration, or managing technical documents.
  • Experience with PDM (ENOVIA) and PLM software.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
  • Fluent English (spoken and written); knowledge of Dutch or German is a plus.
