An IT Support Specialist/Technician plays a vital role in ensuring that all technology systems within a company operate smoothly, supporting both employees and infrastructure., * An IT Support Specialist provides technical assistance to internal users by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues to maintain system performance and productivity., * Diagnose and resolve computer hardware, software, and networking issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain systems, networks, and peripheral devices.
- Manage user accounts, email systems, and ensure data backups and recovery.
- Respond to IT support requests and document solutions and processes.
- Maintain security measures, monitor vulnerabilities, and install system updates.
- Provide user training and create help guides or FAQs.
- Track IT inventory and manage asset procurement for the organization.
Requirements
Do you have experience in macOS?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, IP, DHCP, routers).
- Experience with IT helpdesk tools and ticketing systems.
- Bachelor's degree or certification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent qualification (Certificate IV or Diploma in IT in Australia).
