In this part-time role (24 hours per week) you will be responsible for providing IT support and solutions to business users, with the intention to transition to a full-time position. This hands-on role involves acting as the main point of contact for IT questions, managing IT systems and troubleshooting technical issues. You will work closely with internal technical teams and business users to ensure smooth operations and efficient problem resolution. This role requires someone communicative, analytical and technical, capable of taking ownership of IT processes and driving solutions forward. As you grow in this role, your responsibilities will expand to independently analyzing, improving, and implementing IT solutions that enhance the efficiency and reliability of the systems and processes., * Act as a bridge between non-technical business users and technical teams, translating technical concepts clearly.
- Act as the primary IT liaison for employees, troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues.
- Analyze problems, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions, escalating complex issues as needed.
- Support and maintain IT infrastructure, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices and office peripherals.
- Manage user accounts, access rights, and group policies, and provide support for systems such as Salesforce and Microsoft 365.
- Collaborate with internal and external technical teams to ensure smooth IT operations.
- Maintain IT documentation, including asset inventory, standard operating procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, preparing devices and providing system access.
- Demonstrate proactive problem-solving, ownership, and follow-up on requests.
- Provide remote support, MS Teams and manage requests through ticketing systems including Jira and Salesforce.
- Contribute to process improvements and training to enhance user experience and first-call resolution.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Minimum 3 years of experience in IT solutions, IT support, systems administration- or related roles; experience can come from work or education.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, demonstrating strong analytical thinking and skills.
- Excellent English communication, strong analytical thinking, proactive problem-solving, and ability to ask challenging questions.
- Technical skills including Windows support, Microsoft 365 administration, hardware and software troubleshooting and IT asset management.
- Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus; willingness and ability to learn and support is essential.
- Project management experience.
- Capable, smart, professional, and self-motivated; able to manage multiple technical and user-support tasks efficiently.
- Ability to take ownership of IT issues, prioritize tasks, and ensure smooth technical operations across teams.
For this role, candidates must be located in the Rotterdam area and have a valid work permit to work in the Netherlands.This position will begin with a few days per week, with the intention and opportunity to expand hours over time.
