Data and Reporting Analyst

Working within a world class, innovative and heavily collaborative Managed Services team,the Company have a requirement to better understand and adapt our rapidly changing business by carefully assessing and analsing the business intelligence available to us from a number of data sources such as IT Service Management and Monitoring toolsets. The role will be working alongside and be supportive of our Senior Leadership team to ensure that the data available to us from reports delivers tangible results that in turn can be used to provide positive and sustainable improvement within our business.

What you'll be doing

• Partnering with our teams to define and document business requirements for new metrics, reports and dashboards
• Design, build and maintain reports using analytical tools
• Responsibility for the delivery of informational analysis to the business, working with our subject matter experts to ensure relevant data is accurately captured and processed.
• Perform ongoing monitoring and refinement of reports
• Provide support for existing reports, dashboards or other tools
• Assist in developing information toolsets to deliver refined results

• Experience working as a Data Analyst and/or Reporting Analyst
• Experience in advanced Excel functions (e.g. creating formulas, pivot tables) and PowerBI with ability to create dashboards, graphs and tables
• Experience in database technology with experience building reporting views using SQL, T-SQL or MySQL
• Strong communication skills to include experience of presenting findings to stakeholders
• Attention to detail, highly analytical and strong commercial awareness
• Self-motivated, agile and driven to think out-of-the-box
