Solutions Specialist

The ideal candidate is to be mainly technical for the client's Sales Engineering team work closely with the Solutions Consultants. They are a separate team within the solutions function that specialise within their technical field.

• Seeking candidates with CCNA or Networking equivalent (Understanding Layer 2,3 and 4 )
• Post graduate with experience in Customer engagement.
• Customer skills are key in this position, the candidate will be required to present and demo products in detail.
• Hybrid: Candidate will be in commutable distance to Aldgate headoffice, 2.5 days per week. (3 days one week, 2 days another)
• Bonus = Paid quarterly, 10% of basic salary

The Ideal candidate must have the below experience

• Demonstratable interest in the Managed IT / Telecommunications industry.
• Demonstratable technical experience in at least two of our Cornerstones.
• Working knowledge in common networking principles & protocols such as:
• L2-L4 TCP/IP Stack
• L2 & L3 Switching concepts
• IP routing technologies such as OSPF & BGP
• Redundancy protocols such as VRRP
• Security principles such as Stateful Firewall, UTM, IPSec & SIEM
• Wireless principles such as SSIDs, Encryption & Authentication
• · Demonstratable commercial awareness
• · Excellent written and oral communication skills; including the ability to translate technical jargon for a non-technical audience and vice-versa
• · Excellent organization & analytical skills with an eye for detail
• · Excellent presentation skills
• · Strong problem-solving skills - both technical and social
• · Ability to work proficiently in a high-stress environment managing multiple projects across multiple product suites simultaneously
