Job description

As the Website Manager you will be the driving force behind the performance, content, and user experience of our website. Sitting within the Digital and Marketing team, you'll manage the businesses roadmap for website improvement - working closely with a technology counterpart who manages the foundational platform and infrastructure. Your focus will be on ensuring the website delivers measurable business value through improved conversion, engagement, and visibility., * Own and manage the marketing-led website roadmap, focusing on content, design, and user experience

  • Collaborate closely with a technology counterpart to align on delivery and platform dependencies
  • Lead a continuous prioritisation process with the Digital and Marketing Leadership team and other business stakeholders to align initiatives with business value
  • Act as the primary liaison for website-related requests from across the business, ensuring clarity and coordination
  • Take ownership of the website's conversion rate metric, setting goals and tracking performance
  • Design and implement a structured Conversion Rate Optimization programme, including testing and experimentation
  • Use data and user insights to identify and address friction points in key user journeys
  • Partner with UX, design, and content teams to deliver optimised experiences that drive conversion
  • Responsible for the productivity and efficiency of the team through consistent management of performance, regular feedback and coaching
  • Conduct 1-2-1s and quarterly performance reviews with individual team members to provide support and identify development/training needs
  • Set and review objectives for team and create development plans

Requirements

Do you have experience in SharePoint?, You bring deep expertise in website performance, with a proven track record of managing large, content-rich platforms. You understand how design, content, and user experience drive business impact. With a strategic mindset, you're confident in owning roadmaps, balancing immediate needs with long-term goals, and aligning priorities to deliver maximum business value.

Additional experience required in:

  • Collaborative approach: Skilled at working cross-functionally - particularly with technology teams - to deliver seamless, high-impact website improvements
  • A structured, data-informed approach to conversion rate optimisation, with experience designing and running experiments to improve user journeys and outcomes
  • Strong understanding of search engine optimisation & technical best practices
  • Analytical and insight-driven: Comfortable using data to inform decisions, measure performance, and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Strong communicator: Able to clearly articulate priorities, influence stakeholders, and translate complex ideas into actionable plans
  • User-focused: Advocates for the end user and ensures their needs are reflected in every aspect of the website experience
  • Good understanding of Office 365 including MS Word, Excel, SharePoint and Outlook
