Job description

As a Junior IT Support Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing 1st line technical support for telecom and IT systems. Your responsibilities will encompass technical investigation, problem solving, and ensuring the highest level of service delivery to our clients., 1st Line Support:

  • Respond to and resolve technical issues reported by customers, both remotely and on-site.
  • Provide effective troubleshooting and technical assistance to end-users.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to escalate complex issues and ensure timely resolution.

Technical Investigation:

  • Conduct in-depth technical investigations to identify and diagnose telecom and IT-related problems.
  • Analyse system logs, error messages, and performance data to troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Implement corrective actions and preventive measures to enhance system reliability.

Project Management:

  • Collaborate with project teams to deliver telecom and IT projects within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of project tasks.
  • Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders.

Installations:

  • Assist senior engineers with installations and configurations of telecom and IT systems at client sites.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices during installations.
  • Conduct comprehensive testing to validate system functionality post-installation.
  • Investigate and resolve hardware and cabling related issues on site.

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driving Licence license?, Do you have experience in Technical support?, * Ability to self-learn

  • Experience in a customer facing role
  • Problem Solving Skills

Desirable Skills:

  • Previous experience in IT support or related industry
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 products
