Job description
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and maintaining computer systems to ensure smooth operations across the organization., * Provide first- and second-level support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and standard applications.
- Respond to and resolve user requests via ticketing system, phone, or in-person support.
- Maintain, update, and document IT assets, licenses, and configurations.
- Assist with user account management (Active Directory, Microsoft 365, etc.).
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups.
- Set up and support remote access (VPN, remote desktop tools).
- Collaborate with network and systems teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies and best practices.
