Job description
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical assistance, resolve hardware and software issues, and ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations for our employees. The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication, and a customer-focused mindset., * Provide Level 1 & Level 2 technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows and/or macOS systems.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues (LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN).
- Support end users with software applications, email, and system access.
- Manage user accounts, passwords, and permissions in Active Directory / Azure AD.
- Perform imaging, deployment, and upgrades for company devices (SCCM, Intune, or similar tools).
- Document issues, resolutions, and processes in the ticketing system.
- Coordinate with IT teams for escalations, system updates, and scheduled maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and IT best practices.
- Maintain inventory of IT equipment and assist with asset management.
Requirements
Do you have experience in macOS?, * 2+ years of experience in IT support or desktop support.
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, macOS (optional), Office 365, and common productivity tools.
- Experience with Active Directory, user administration, and group policies.
- Understanding of basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Familiarity with imaging tools (SCCM, MDT, Intune, etc.).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
