Job description
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused 1st Line Support Desk IT Technician to provide technical assistance and first-line support to end users. You will act as the first point of contact for IT-related queries, primarily within a Microsoft-based environment, ensuring incidents are logged, diagnosed, and resolved efficiently., * Serve as the first point of contact for users via phone, email, or ticketing system.
- Log, triage, and resolve support related tickets.
- Provide technical support for Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.).
- Troubleshoot and support Windows 10/11 desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
- Assist with Azure/Active Directory user account management (password resets, group memberships, permissions).
- Support Microsoft Intune and other endpoint management tools.
- Maintain and update documentation, FAQs, and knowledge base articles.
- Escalate unresolved issues to 2nd Line or specialist teams when necessary.
- Install, configure, and maintain standard software and hardware.
- Ensure all incidents and service requests meet agreed SLAs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the IT support function.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows?, * A minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role is essential.
- CompTIA A+ certification is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to support users at all technical levels.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to resolve issues.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- Good understanding of Windows 10/11 operating systems, desktop hardware, and peripherals.

- £26,000 - £28,000 salary, depending on experience.
