Job description

Your Company:A rapidly growing business services company is seeking an accomplished Head of Change to join its senior leadership team. As it continues to expand and refine its services, the organisation is now seeking a senior change leader to shape and deliver its enterprise-wide change agenda, driving consistency, structure, and excellence in transformation and innovation initiatives.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesWhile in this position your duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and deliver an organisation-wide change framework that drives sustainable transformation and supports strategic objectives.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing change team, ensuring delivery of multiple projects aligned with business priorities and stakeholder expectations.
  • Partner with the Executive Committee to define the change portfolio, set priorities, allocate resources, and determine delivery methodologies.
  • Establish and embed governance standards, controls, and assurance frameworks to ensure consistency, compliance, and quality across all programmes.
  • Oversee portfolio performance, monitoring progress against milestones, budgets, and quality metrics, and provide clear reporting to executive and board audiences.
  • Drive effective project initiation, planning, and execution with defined deliverables, success measures, and risk management processes.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, ensuring engagement, transparency, and alignment throughout all stages of change.
  • Champion continuous improvement, leading initiatives that enhance efficiency, automation, and performance tracking across systems and processes.
  • Ensure business readiness for change by aligning policies, processes, and controls with future-state operations and supporting smooth transitions.
  • Foster an inclusive, accountable, and growth-oriented team culture, providing coaching, feedback, and development opportunities to enable high performance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a senior change or transformation leader, successfully delivering complex, multi-faceted programmes in fast-paced, evolving environments.
  • Strong leadership capability with a track record of building, developing, and motivating high-performing teams.
  • Hands-on experience managing end-to-end change delivery using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage effectively with executive teams, board members, and external partners.
  • Deep knowledge of change governance, assurance frameworks, and process optimisation.
  • Practical understanding of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
  • Experience implementing automation or robotic process solutions to enhance efficiency and remove operational inefficiencies.
  • Ability to design and embed governance frameworks, create process maps, and develop structured change playbooks that drive consistency and accountability.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven approach, with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for reporting, performance analysis, and business case preparation.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to interpret data in a wider business context and translate insights into actionable decisions.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and inclusive leadership style, capable of thriving in ambiguity and guiding teams through periods of transition.
  • High emotional intelligence, commercial acumen, and the ability to foster engagement, collaboration, and trust across all levels of the organisation.
