Job description

As a Technical Administrator, you will play a key part in supporting the smooth operation of our technical and administrative processes.You'll be responsible for maintaining accurate records, managing essential documentation, and coordinating technical tasks that contribute to achieving our business objectives.Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and external partners to deliver reliable and efficient solutions., * Ensure all administrative procedures related to Asset Adoption are accurately maintained and followed.

  • Manage multiple mailboxes, responding to queries and directing communications to the appropriate team members.
  • Process purchase orders for Land Rights transactions and prepare proposals and documentation for stakeholder review and completion.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate project records in both electronic and hard copy formats, ensuring easy retrieval and compliance with standards.
  • Update internal IT systems to support accurate reporting, prioritise workload effectively, and communicate regularly with internal and external stakeholders to enable informed decision-making.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a technical administrative role, with the ability to interpret plans, drawings, and related documentation confidently.
  • Strong IT proficiency, including advanced use of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, with the flexibility to adapt to bespoke or in-house software systems.
  • Previous experience within the water industry, engineering, or construction environment is desirable, as is exposure to legal or regulatory processes.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades A-C, including Maths and English.
  • A Level 3 qualification in Administration or an engineering-related discipline is desirable.
