Job description

St Helens Borough Council are looking for an ambitious, dynamic candidate with relevant experience to lead on the data management and reporting to join the busy Housing Options team as a Homelessness Data Officer.

Responding to the issue of homelessness is a key Council priority and statutory duty. With an announcement of long-term funding and a new national homelessness strategy expected shortly, there has never been a more exciting time to join our dedicated and experienced team.

The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining data systems, ensuring accuracy, and producing Government returns, performance data and responding to Freedom of Information requests. The applicant will also provide data to and liaise with senior managers around this vital area of work.

Applicants will need to demonstrate that they are able to work as part of a team and establish strong working relationships with internal and external colleagues.

Requirements
