Job description
Our client, a leading international construction company, is seeking an experienced ICT Manager to join their team on a high profile infrastructure project in the nuclear sector. This is a pivotal role, ensuring that all information and communication technology systems are robust, secure, and aligned with the complex demands of a highly regulated environment., Lead the planning, implementation, and maintenance of ICT systems across the project.
- Develop and deliver ICT strategies that support operational excellence and compliance with industry standards.
- Manage ICT budgets, procurement, and supplier relationships to ensure cost effective solutions.
- Oversee cybersecurity measures and ensure adherence to data protection regulations.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives, including system upgrades and integrations.
- Provide leadership and guidance to ICT staff, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with project directors, engineers, and stakeholders to identify technology needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement preventative measures to minimise downtime.
Requirements
Proven track record in ICT management, ideally within construction, engineering, or other complex project environments.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise systems, cloud technologies, and infrastructure management.
- Demonstrated expertise in cybersecurity, data governance, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results under pressure.
- Strategic thinker with a hands on approach to problem solving.
Qualifications
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
