Senior Application Support Engineer

We're looking for a hands-on Senior Application Support Engineer to take ownership of key business applications and ensure they run smoothly across the organisation. You'll be the go-to person for day-to-day support, updates, integrations, and process improvements, working closely with key stakeholders across multiple departments.

What You'll Do

• Own and support core business applications, including troubleshooting, incident resolution, and performance tuning.
• Manage application updates, releases, and changes, coordinating with internal teams and vendors.
• Maintain and improve integrations with other systems, ensuring smooth data flow.
• Write and maintain clear documentation, SOPs, and training materials for users.
• Identify under-used features and optimise how applications are adopted across the business.
• Ensure security, data governance, and disaster recovery processes are followed.

Do you have experience in T-SQL?, * Strong experience in application support or ownership.

• Strong SQL skills and experience with SQL-backed business applications (T-SQL preferred)
• Experience in supporting and integrating business applications (APIs, EDI, flat files) and vendor management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong documentation and training experience.
• Analytical, proactive, and adaptable mindset.

Nice to Have

• Experience with ERP or logistics systems.
• Familiarity with BI/reporting tools.
• Knowledge of ITIL practices.
