Requirements
Do you have experience in Shell Scripting?, * The Linux Pro: You have 3-5 years of hands-on experience. You are comfortable in a shell environment and understand HA architecture.
- The Bilingual: You speak German (C1) and English (C1) fluently. This is non-negotiable due to the safety-critical nature of the communication.
- The Road Warrior: You are excited by the idea of traveling internationally (20%) to see your systems go live.
- The Education: You have a technical degree (CS) or equivalent aggressive field experience.

About the company
We are partnering with a hidden champion in the Aviation & Air Traffic Control sector. They have a 60+ year history (roots in legendary aerospace firms) and a massive global footprint. They build the systems that ensure millions of passengers take off and land safely every day.
We are looking for a Linux-focused IT Engineer to join their System Engineering team. You aren't just closing tickets here; you are building and commissioning High Availability (HA) clusters that cannot fail.
What You'll Do
* Build the Foundation: You'll install and configure Linux-based clusters (RedHat) for High Availability services.
* Network Engineering: You'll handle the configuration of network components (Cisco/HP) and serial connections.
* Go Where the Action Is: This role involves approx. 20% worldwide travel. You will go on-site to customers (airports/control centers) to commission the systems you helped build.
* Knowledge Transfer: You'll train client admins on how to handle the systems you deploy.
The Tech Stack & Environment
* OS: Linux (Deep expertise required, ideally RedHat) & Windows Server (2019+).
* Hardware/Net: Cisco, HP, Active Directory.
* Methodology: You'll work in a Scrum team of ~4 direct colleagues, collaborating with Software Engineering and Integration teams.
