Job description
We are seeking a proactive, self-managing Mid-Level Full-Stack Developer who can take ownership of client projects and contribute strongly to the team.
We're looking for a talented developer with a good eye for detail and a solid understanding of SEO and web performance best practices.
You will primarily focus on architecting and building robust WordPress and WooCommerce solutions. You'll be translating custom designs into clean, responsive, accessible websites.
You'll work closely with our creative and dev teams to bring ideas to life and ensure everything runs smoothly., * WordPress Mastery: Develop, extend, and secure custom WordPress themes and plugins from Figma designs.
- E-commerce & Backend: Build and maintain WooCommerce solutions and implement custom PHP logic, confidently working with MySQL databases.
- API Integration: Consume and implement RESTful APIs into WordPress and other client systems. You will focus on the secure integration of data from external applications.
- Front-End Excellence: Translate designs into responsive, accessible websites using HTML5, CSS/SCSS, and modern JavaScript.
- Performance & SEO: Implement SEO best practices (page speed, schema) and optimise pages for performance, UX, and conversion.
- Team Contribution: Collaborate with designers and backend developers. Manage your own workload and contribute actively to team progress.
Requirements
- Minimum Commercial Experience: 2-3 years of verifiable, client-facing commercial development experience.
- PHP & WordPress Mastery (Essential): Strong proficiency in modern PHP and expert-level skills in custom WordPress theme/plugin development.
- Front-End Frameworks: Experience with Tailwind or Bootstrap.
- Full-Stack Foundation: Solid HTML5, CSS/SCSS, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Integration Knowledge: Confident consuming APIs and integrating third-party data into web platforms.
- Quality & Standards: Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and Core Web Vitals, with a good eye for design consistency.
- Tooling & Process: Confident using Git for version control and familiarity with Google tools (GA, GSC, Tag Manager).
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with WooCommerce development or extensions.
- Working knowledge of ACF, Gutenberg Blocks or Elementor.
- Familiarity with Laravel framework structure or another MVC framework is a bonus, but not essential.
- Interest in UX, UI, or CRO testing., * You have 2-3 years of verifiable commercial development experience., * Web development: 2 years (required)
