IT Network Manager

Location - Liverpool/L7 - Hybrid - must be able to commute easily to Liverpool min 6 times per month,probably more My client are a prestigious membership based organisation and have an exciting role for an IT Network Manager to join their team. Working within the IT services department as a member of the Technical Operations (Infrastructure) team, the main focus of your role is to manage the organisation's computer network systems, including WiFi, ensuring their operating efficiency, availability and security. This includes:

Designing and implementing network solutions Monitoring network performance, availability, and security Troubleshooting and resolving network issues Managing network upgrades and maintenance Collaborating with other IT team members, other departments, and third parties Line management of network engineer(s) as they are added to the team Your experience includes

Proven experience as a network manager or similar role In-depth knowledge of network systems and security Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and collaboration skills Desirable The following technologies are a bonus but if you have experience with similar then that is totally fine Relevant certifications (eg CCNA, CCNP) Experience of Dell switching Experience of Aruba and/or Ruckus WiFi systems Experience of Palo Alto next generation firewalls Experience of network monitoring tools including SolarWinds Experience in an educational, membership or not-for-profit organisation This is a great role for a really fantastic company working in a friendly team.
