Junior IT Technician (Graduate / Entry-Level) Location: Emersons Green, Bristol (office-based) Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week (Mon-Fri, early Friday finish) Salary: Up to £24,000 per annum (depending on experience) Contract: Permanent Experience Level: Entry-level / Graduate / Career-starterA fast-growing UK software company is looking for a Junior IT Technician to join its internal IT team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate, college leaver, or someone at the start of their IT career who enjoys problem-solving, learning on the job, and being the go-to person when technology needs fixing.You'll be based in the office full-time, working closely with experienced IT colleagues who'll help you build real-world technical skills quickly. Expect variety, responsibility, and plenty of opportunities to learn.What You'll Be DoingYou'll report directly to the IT Manager and play a hands-on role supporting staff across the business.Day to day, you'll be:
- Providing 1st line internal IT support (hardware & software)
- Troubleshooting desktops, laptops, peripherals and user issues
- Assisting with web application updates using FTP
- Supporting and maintaining Microsoft SQL Server databases
- Working with Microsoft 365 applications
- Creating and maintaining clear IT documentation and guides
- Getting involved in wider IT projects as your skills grow
Requirements

A Level, BTEC or equivalent qualification in IT / Computing

A genuine interest in IT and technology

Awareness of Microsoft 365, Azure and Intune

Logical thinker with good problem-solving skills

Confident communicator - written and verbal

Able to work independently and as part of a team No formal commercial experience required. If you've built PCs, fixed tech for friends or family, or learned through study or projects that would be great!Desirable (Nice to Have)
