Job description
This position is field based, within the Cambridgeshire area. This is a fantastic role for those who enjoy a role working with hardware, networking, and a variety of software issues. The successful applicant will have the comfort knowing that they are completely backed up by our great helpdesk, 3rd line groups and fellow engineers.
Training and environment
Training is provided to help fast track the successful applicant to succeed. During the probation period you will briefly spend time assisting the helpdesk in-house, where you can familiarise yourself with customers and colleagues alike. After this you will be sent into the field to shadow our experienced field engineers until you have the knowledge and understanding to work independently.
The primary environment is Windows 11 based, with most users utilising N365, a special version of Office 365. Given the NHS environment, there are many bespoke software packages that you will also receive training on.
Hours of work
Dependent on your circumstances and field requirements, initially the role is 9am (on-site) to 5.30pm, though variations of hours can be discussed and accommodated where possible.
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driving Licence license?, Do you have experience in Help desk?, The ideal applicant is someone who works well in a team, self-motivated, diligent, and thorough in their approach to IT. The role will involve working face-to-face with customers so good communication skills and politeness is highly important., * 4+ Years' within industry

Given the nature of the role a driving license is a requirement. Applicants need to be over 21 due to restriction on vehicle insurance. A company car will be provided., * Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Salary & Benefits
Based on relevant experience, qualifications:
28k-35k per annum
