Join HR Connect, part of Commercial Services Group (CSG), as an Application Support Analyst and play a key role in keeping our critical HR systems running smoothly for thousands of users across the UK and beyond. This role ensures systems remain reliable, secure and user-friendly, directly supporting colleagues, customers and service delivery. Your work will help maintain continuity, performance and confidence in our digital platforms. What you'll be doing
- Receive, log and prioritise application support requests in line with agreed service criteria
- Investigate incidents and service requests, determining appropriate resolutions or escalations
- Provide timely resolutions, including guidance, training, workarounds and system tasks
- Liaise with third-party suppliers to resolve technical issues where required
- Monitor and communicate progress on support requests to users and stakeholders
- Administer user access and system permissions in line with security policies
- Carry out application monitoring, checks and routine administration tasks
- Produce reports, investigate security issues and implement approved configuration changes
- Design, execute and document test cases and scripts in line with specifications
- Support User Acceptance Testing, logging defects and assisting end users as required
Requirements
- Experience working in a fast-paced IT or application support environment
- Strong customer service skills with a patient and empathetic approach
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving ability
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
- Confident working as part of a collaborative team
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word
