Job description

Reporting to the Group Head of Internal Audit, the Internal IT Auditor / IT Audit Manager provides specialized expertise on IT and Security matters. As part of a modern audit approach, UBP Internal Audit values the combination of business and IT competences to conduct integrated audits. IT Auditors are encouraged to build their knowledge of business processes and are given the opportunity to participate in non-IT audits as well.

Main responsibilities

  • Participate in operational, compliance, financial, investigative, IT and security audits, as assigned
  • Perform general and application control reviews
  • Participate in review of business processes and help in identifying and testing key controls
  • Ensure compliance with internal rules and external regulations
  • Prepare audit working papers to ensure that adequate documentation exists to support the completed audit and conclusions
  • Prepare and present written and oral reports and other technical information in a pertinent, concise, and accurate manner
  • Follow-up on audit findings to ensure that management has taken corrective action(s)
  • Assist and train other audit staff in the use of computerized audit techniques, and foster the usage of computerized information systems and data analytics
  • Participate in periodic risk assessmentsMaintain currency of knowledge with respect to relevant technology, equipment, audit methodology and/or systems

Requirements

Do you have experience in Time management?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * At least 3 years of IT audit experience with an auditing firm, a bank or an asset management company. The position will be adjusted to the seniority of the selected candidate.

  • In-depth knowledge of best-practice IT and Security frameworks.
  • Master in a relevant field.
  • Holding the CISA is a strong plus.
  • Any other professional certification in auditing, IT, Cyber Security, or data analytics is a plus.
  • Knowledge of data analysis tools is a plus.
  • Integrity of character, intellectual curiosity, and strong interpersonal skills
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Analytical Thinking - Able to analyse complex information and data and draw conclusions.
  • Strong overall risk awareness - Proficient in identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing risks.
