Job description

As the IT Support, you will play a crucial role in supporting teams across the business to ensure all software and equipment needs are met. This learning role will give you exposure to large amounts of our IT systems, infrastructure and hardware.

The main purpose of this role is to support the IT Support Technician and Application Manager to provide fast and efficient support to the whole business. This role will also require involvement in the testing and implementation of projects around Software, equipment, and our ERP system.

Main responsibilities:

  • Providing first-line technical support for hardware, devices, and general business software.
  • Managing user access, accounts, and IT equipment for new starters and leavers.
  • Monitoring systems to ensure availability, performance, and security.
  • Logging, tracking, and resolving support tickets in line with agreed service levels.
  • Supporting the IT team with ongoing projects related to IT infrastructure, ERP systems, websites, and business applications.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Organizational skills?, * A natural affinity with the use of varying software and systems.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability and confidence to generate and build effective relationships with staff and managers.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Competent numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Basic computer hardware repair and troubleshooting skills.
  • Problem solving experience
