Job description
- As a 2nd Line IT Support Engineer, you will be joining our well-established Service Desk team, where you will assist in resolving over 2000 service requests we receive each month. You will be expected to solve complex problems and contribute to various project-based work within infrastructure and software solutions for new and existing clients. Your ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals, from junior staff to senior executives, will be essential in this role.

Requirements
- We require that you have over 2 years of experience in a similar helpdesk or IT environment within a 2nd Line role. Experience working for a Managed Service Provider (MSP) is essential. You should have strong knowledge of Windows Server (including Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, GPOs, Print Management, and AD Sync) and familiarity with VMWare/Hyper-V. Experience within an ITIL environment is preferred, and holding a current ITIL qualification would be beneficial. Technical qualifications such as CompTIA+ or Network+ are advantageous, as well as an understanding of Agile methodologies. Proficiency in Office 365 (Email concepts, SharePoint, OneDrive, Azure AD) and a basic understanding of networks (LAN, WAN, VLAN, WIFI, IPSEC, VPN, etc.) is also required. Experience with onsite/offsite backup products and storage, including cloud storage, is important. We value individuals who can work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and deliver excellent customer service. A full driving license is preferred but not required.

The salary for this position is approximately £32,500 per year, along with excellent company benefits, including 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays, pension contributions, life insurance, and more.
