Job description

We are looking for an onsite Support Engineer to join our team in Chancery Lane, London. In this role you will be working on a client site and dedicated to a single customer, with the support of a wider technical team.

This role would be perfect for someone with a 1st line support skills set who would like to enhance their technical and client-facing skills to further develop their career.

This is a full time, onsite position., In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Guide users through step-by-step technical solutions at a 1st line level
  • End-to-end ownership of a customer ticket, identifying the underlying cause and managing the implementation of a solution (with the support of a Senior Engineer, as required)
  • Manage and work to agreed SLAs to ensure that the right technical solutions are delivered in the right way
  • Assist with hardware and software installations
  • Facilitate one-to-one user training, as required
  • Develop professionally by gaining on-the-job experience alongside having the opportunity to attain industry-recognised certifications

Requirements

Do you have experience in Microsoft Windows Server?, The right candidate for this role will have:

  • Professional 1st line support engineering experience
  • Experience of working in a customer-facing capacity
  • Technical experience of Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, Exchange, Office 365) in an administration and troubleshooting capacity

Benefits & conditions

The budgeted base salary for this role is between £25,000 and £29,000 a year, depending on experience.
