IT Officer

The Chancery Rosewood is seeking a proactive and service-driven IT Officer to support the technology infrastructure of our hotel. This role is integral to ensuring seamless daily operations across all departments, delivering reliable, secure, and efficient IT systems that enable exceptional guest and colleague experiences., As IT Officer, you will provide first-line and second-line technical support across the hotel, maintaining hardware, software, and network systems. You will work closely with departmental leaders to ensure business continuity, cybersecurity compliance, and operational efficiency.

This role requires a calm, solution-focused professional who thrives in a luxury hospitality environment where discretion, responsiveness, and attention to detail are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day IT support to all hotel departments *

Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues promptly and effectively *

Maintain and monitor servers, workstations, POS systems, and telephony *

Support PMS, POS, finance, and other operational systems *

Ensure data security and compliance with Rosewood IT policies and standards *

Assist with system upgrades, installations, and preventative maintenance *

Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets and support logs *

Liaise with external vendors and service providers when required *

Provide on-call support when necessary to ensure uninterrupted operations

Do you have experience in Windows?, Previous experience in an IT support role, ideally within hospitality or a service-led environment *

Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, networking fundamentals, and server management *

Experience supporting PMS and POS systems (Opera knowledge advantageous) *

Understanding of cybersecurity principles and data protection standards *

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills *

Calm under pressure with strong organisational ability *

Professional, discreet, and service-oriented approach *

Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical matters clearly to non-technical colleagues
